Eric Alonso Avalos, 28, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Monday, July 9, 2012, at the Lexington Regional Health Center.
He was born November 3, 1983, in McAllen, Texas to Alonso and Norma (Pineda) Avalos.
Eric grew up in Alamo, Texas and attended school at Donna, Texas. After his schooling he moved to Minnesota for a time where he worked in the fields. In 2003, he moved to Lexington where he worked in slaughter at Tyson Fresh Meats. In 2011, he went to work as a cowboy for Dawson Feeders.
Eric was united in marriage to Zellidhay Villatoro on January 14, 2010, in Lexington. He loved being with his family, talking to his grandmother in Mexico, listening to music, his dogs, sporty cars and Superman. Eric was a super guy who will be so very missed by his loving family and friends.
Survivors include his wife: Zellidhay Avalos of Lexington, NE; his parents; one brother, David Avalos of Alamo, TX; two sisters, Angie Lynn Avalos of Edinburg, TX and Leidy Laura (Cesar) Delgado of Alamo, TX; grandparents, one nephew, five nieces, aunts, uncles and many friends.
Eric was preceded in death by a grandfather.
Funeral Services will be Friday, July 13, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
Visitation will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012, from 1-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Chapel in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation.
Following the Funeral Service Eric’s body will be cremated. There will be no burial.
