Esther Reinhardt

Esther Reinhardt, 88, of North Platte, Nebraska, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at Linden Court in North Platte, Nebraska, where she has spent the past 3 ½ years battling Alzheimer’s Disease. Esther was born April 14, 1924, in Cozad, Nebraska to Alex Schneider and Amelia (Moore) Schneider. She attended school at Cozad. Esther worked at Russell Stover’s in Lincoln and King’s Restaurant in North Platte. She spent several years caring for the elderly. She will be remembered for her love of crocheting and embroidery and her love of flowers, both inside and outside. Survivors include her son; Steve (Joan) Reinhardt of North Platte, Nebraska. Six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and eighteen great-great-grandchildren, and one sister-in-law, Frieda Schneider. Esther was preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Mires; parents, Alex and Amelia; seven brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services will be Monday, May 21, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor Rob Kuefner officiating. There will be no visitation and the casket will be closed for the service. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Donor’s Choice.
