Eugene "Gino" Dougherty

Eugene “Gino” Dougherty, 53, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Sunday April 1, 2012, at Lexington Regional Health Center. He was born September 4, 1958, in Seattle, Washington. Gino worked as a professional welder for over 30 years. He moved to Lexington a few months ago to be near family and friends. He loved being outdoors, fishing, camping and being with family. Those he left behind include fiancé: Lind Bennett of Lexington, Nebraska. Three children: Lisa Michelle, Lisa Rene’ and Robert Anthony. Seven grandchildren including; Joseph Avila, Bobbi Jo and Travis Meshell. Son-in-law, Buck Meshell and Sister-in-law, Gale Boswell. Three nephews: Robert Boswell, Gregory Boswell and Thomas Boswell. Gino was preceded in death by Bob & Chuck Boswell. A Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, April 4, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Chapel in Lexington with Reverend Paul Colling officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 3, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation. The family will honor Gino’s wishes that his body be cremated following the funeral Mass. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
