Loretta Jean Racicky, 73, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at her sister’s home in Lexington following a stroke. She was born August 26, 1938, at Ericson, Nebraska to Lewis P. and Sara (Hoskins) Racicky. Loretta Jean was a special child of God, born with handicaps, but enjoyed her life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her family. She cherished her doll collection, animals and loved to paint and color. She will be so very missed by her loving family. Loretta was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Survivors include her mother: Sara Riebschlager of Lexington, Nebraska Two brothers: Robert and Debra Racicky of Mason City, Nebraska Ben and Audrey Riebschlager of Overton, Nebraska Three sisters: Mary and Richard Gibbons of Sutherland, Nebraska Cathy Racicky and her friend, Sam Swisher of Oshkosh, Nebraska Peggy Schram of Lexington, Nebraska Many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Loretta was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Robert Riebschlager and brother-in-law, John Schram. Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, March 28, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Paul Colling officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 27, 2012, from 2-4 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral home in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Family for later designation. Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements.
