Anna Belle Zoerb

Anna Belle Price Zoerb passed away February 5, 2012, at the age of 87 years at the Callaway Good Samaritan Center with her husband by her side. Anna Belle was born on July 25, 1924, on a farm near Callaway to Bryan and Julia Ann Pitkin Price. She attended Brown Valley Country School through the 8th grade and then went to Callaway Public school where she graduated in 1942. Following Graduation, Anna Belle taught in three different Country Schools. She met Bill in Callaway and they were united in marriage on June 1, 1946. They lived and worked on the farm west of Callaway. This union brought forth five children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Anna Belle was a great cook and enjoyed having family and friends over. She also loved gardening, sewing and baking cakes. She was a member of the Callaway United Methodist Church and H.H.H. Club. Left to mourn her passing is her husband Bill of Callaway, Nebraska Four Daughters: Beverly and husband Jerry Witthuhn of Omaha, Nebraska; Barbara and husband Tim Thompson of Phoenix, Arizona; Sandra and husband Ray Thompson of Gentry, Arkansas and Elaine and husband Paul Howsden of Lincoln, Nebraska Five Grandchildren: Jasen and wife Michelle Witthuhn of Omaha, Nebraska; Jimmy Thompson of Phoenix, Arizona; James Thompson of Tuscon, Arizona; Mellanny Thompson of Gentry, Arkansas; Charity and husband Kyle Nelson of Lincoln. Five Great-Grandchildren: Justin and Lexis Witthuhn of Omaha, Nebraska; James Jr., Kaylea Jo and Payton Thompson of Phoenix, Arizona One Sister-In-Law: Linda Price of Kearney, Nebraska; Numerous nieces, nephews and many friends She was preceded in death by her parents, one son Wayne Everett, one grandson Jered Witthuhn, two sisters, Bonnie Schuman, Mary Lane and one brother Bryan Price. Funeral Services will be held Friday, February 10, 2012, at 10:30 a.m. the United Methodist Church in Callaway with Pastor Roger Gillming and Pastor Dean Haidle, officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, February 9, 2012 from 5-7 p.m. at Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Callaway, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Timm-Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Callaway is in charge of arrangements.
