Jeff M. Zediker, 49, of Overton, Nebraska, died Saturday, August 20, 2011, at his home in Overton, following a valiant fight with pancreatic cancer.
He was born October 18, 1961, at Battle Creek, Iowa to Clark Muckey and Dorothy (Pyle) Rediker.
Jeff attended school at Mapleton, Iowa and worked as a carpenter/contractor his entire working career. Jeff was one of those men who could fix anything.
He was united in marriage to Tammie Martinez on August 23, 2003, at Mapleton, Iowa. The couple moved to Lexington in 2004.
Jeff had a heart of gold and enjoyed making people laugh and bringing joy to children at Christmastime. He always dressed up as Santa and brought gifts to the children who needed them most. He loved writing poetry and had a poem selected for publishing in Poems of the Western World. He enjoyed drawing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, camping, the 4th of July, and spending time with his friends and family.

His mother: Dorothy Zediker of Mapleton, Iowa
One stepson: Terry Hawk of Denison, Iowa
One stepdaughter: Merinda Pesek of Lexington, Nebraska
One daughter: Brianna Zediker of Iowa
One brother: Clark (Renee) Zediker of Denison, Iowa
Three sisters: Tracy, Chris and Linda all of Iowa
Three grandchildren: Tesia, Hailey & Allyshia
Jeff was preceded in death by his father.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, August 27, 2011, at 4:30 p.m. at Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington, Nebraska with Pastor K.C. BeDunnah officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 26, 2011 from 5-7 p.m. at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home in Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation. Following the funeral service cremation will take place. There will be no burial.
