Kevin Vargas

Kevin Vargas, 4, of Lexington, Nebraska, passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, August 21, 2011, at his home in Lexington, Nebraska, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 19, 2007, at Lexington, Nebraska to Fredy and Maria Guadalupe (Guido) Vargas. Kevin was diagnosed with Leukemia one year ago. He loved doing all the things any little four year old boy loved to do. He loved to play with his toys, trucks, cars, being outside. He loved Spiderman (his nurses in the hospital called him “Spiderman”), Spongebob Square Pants, Mario 2, and having fun with his brother and cousins. Kevin was called to be with the Angels in Heaven and to watch over all who loved and cared for him on earth. Sleep tight sweet little boy. Survivors include his parents of Lexington, Nebraska One brother: Fredy Vargas, Jr. of Lexington, Nebraska Many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mass will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington with Reverend Paul Colling officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Monday, August 22, 2011, from 3-6 p.m. with Rosary at 6 p.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington. Memorials are suggested to the Family.
