Lathan Daniel Smith

Lathan Daniel Smith, 16 days, perfected his tiny Angel wings and flew to the arms of Jesus on Sunday, May 1, 2011, at the home of his grandparents in Lexington. He was born April 15, 2011, at Tri-County Hospital in Lexington, Nebraska to Willis Gibbens and Lindsay Smith. Lathan was on this earth for a very short time, but will live on in our hearts forever. He is survived by his parents. Two brothers: Keegan & Lucas of Lexington, Nebraska One sister: Kallie of Lexington, Nebraska Three half-brothers: Caleb, Shawn and Kingsley of Eustis, Nebraska Three half-sisters: Gracie & Janesa of Eustis, Nebraska and Toni of Colorado Grandparents: Marty & Denise Smith of Lexington, Nebraska Great-grandparents: Ron & Eileen Smith of Elm Creek, Nebraska Lathan is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins. Mass of Angels will be Thursday, May 5, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington, Nebraska with Reverend Paul Colling officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington. Visitation will be held Thursday, May 5, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Memorials are suggested to the Family.
