Glenna B. Pfister, 97 of Lexington died Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Plum Creek Care Center in Lexington.
Glenna was born April 8, 1914 in Tremont, Illinois to Benjamin and Christina (Pflederer) Getz.
Glenna attended school in Tremont, Illinois, graduating with the class of 1932. She then attended business school in Peoria.
After she completed her schooling Glenna was employed at Hershel Manufacturing Company, where she was the private secretary for the general superintendent.
Glenna was united in marriage to George Pfister on July 23, 1939 in Tremont Illinois.
The couple moved to Lexington in 1943. Two sons Steve and Barry were born to this union. George preceded in her in death on January 11, 2001.
Glenna enjoyed playing bridge, being at Johnson Lake and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ryan Thomalla of Omaha, Nebraska
Justin & Chelsea Thomalla of Omaha, Nebraska
Gary & Marcia Thomalla of Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Six Great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; five sisters: Rachael, Edna, Barbara, Marjorie & Bernice and one brother, Merle.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, April 25, 2011 at 2:00 at the Lexington Berean Bible Church in Lexington with Pastor Glenn Johnson officiating.
Visitation will be held on Monday April 25, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the church.
Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery at Lexington.
Memorials are suggested to the Lexington Berean Bible Church, The Lexington Grand Generation Center or The Lexington Volunteer Fire department.
