Sandra F. Schwarz, 72, of Lexington, Nebraska, died Monday, March 28, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska.
She was born July 1, 1938, at Lexington, Nebraska to Eulin and Neva (Crawford) Parks. Sandra attended school at Lexington and was united in marriage to Martin “Mike” Schwarz on June 16, 1956, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Lexington. Three sons were blessed to this marriage; Michael, Dean and Dennis.
Throughout Sandra’s working years she worked at Cornland Hotel during high school, at Reach Electronics, Plectron Manufacturing in Overton, Nebraska and Hennek’s in Lexington. At the time of her death Sandra was the bookkeeper for M&D Masonry, which she and Mike owned and operated. She was also fortunate enough to stay home and raise her sons during their formative years.
To say Sandra’s faith was her mainstay is an understatement. Sandra had a prayer list a mile long and as each prayer was answered she notated that on her list also. Her faith was unfailing. She was an active member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and agreed to help wherever needed.
Sandra’s hobbies included reading, making wonderful family dinners, fishing and most especially having the family over and spending time with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sandra will be so missed by her large, loving family and many friends.
