Robert Allan Bonde

Robert A. “Bob” Bonde, 72, of Kearney, Nebraska, formerly of Callaway, Ne died Monday, March 14, 2011, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, Nebraska. He was born May 10, 1938, at Gothenburg, Nebraska to George & Emelyn (Anderson) Bonde. Robert was a 1956 graduate of Callaway High School. Following high school, Bob joined the National Guard. Bob spent the majority of his life as a farmer. He did run a welding shop in Callaway for four years. Bob spent most of his life living in Callaway before moving to Kearney in 2000. Bob was a very good welder. He enjoyed collecting toys especially his tractors and also loved to fish. He was a member of the Callaway Morning Star Church. Survivors include his brother: Gordon Bonde of Kearney, Nebraska Cousins: Stanley Bonde of Callaway, Nebraska Larry Ross of Arnold, Nebraska Virginia Witthuhn of Kearney, Nebraska Memorial services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at the Callaway United Methodist Church with Pastor Roger Gillming, officiating. There will be no visitation Inurnment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Callaway. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
